**SIAMESE AND SIAMESE MIXES ARE DUMPED AT CACC EVERY WEEK- DIRECT ADOPTIONS ARE DESPARATELY NEEDED-- OUR SMALL GROUP IS OVERWHELMED WITH THE NUMBER OF ABANDONED SIAMESE CATS** GO TO EAST 110th- Between 1st and 2nd Aves. Siamese alert for adoptions in the NYC area: Every week several wonderful siamese cats are dumped at the Center for Animal Care and Control (the CACC, or the NYC pound). The CACC is located on East 110th Street (between 1st and 2nd avenues). This is a kill shelter, so if you are interested in a siamese cat (or two!), please consider going to the CACC directly to adopt. They get - on average - 6 siamese-related breed cats each week! You should visit in person as the adoption staff really does not have much time to spend on the phone, and availability changes frequently.
